FED reduce TAF y TLSF. Venta de vivienda menor de lo esperado. -24 de septiembre de 2009-

Hoy la FED informó que empieza a reducir sus programas de estímulo, específicamente el TAF y el TSLF:

"Term Auction Facility
Under the TAF facility, to date the Federal Reserve has reduced offered amounts from a peak of $150 billion per auction to $75 billion per auction as conditions in short-term funding markets have continued to improve."

"Term Securities Lending Facility
Consistent with recent further improvements in conditions in secured financing markets, the amounts offered in TSLF auctions will be scaled back further from their current size of $75 billion. As indicated in the attached schedule, TSLF offerings will be reduced to $50 billion in the October auction and to $25 billion in the November, December, and January auctions in the current 28-day cycle of auctions."

Al mismo tiempo se conocieron los datos de ventas de viviendas existentes (existing home sales), el cuál estuvo por debajo de las expectativas del mercado. Este hecho generó aversión al riesgo, así el DAX cayó al terreno negativo igual que el Dow Jones, los bonos tanto Alemanes como Americanos incrementaron aún mas sus precios y el índice del dólar tuvo importantes ganancias.
